Card Show Services – Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all services carried out at card shows, including Clean & Polish, Slab Crack & Clean, and Pre-Grading Assessments.

🧽 Clean & Polish

Cosmetic Improvement Only

Cleaning is intended to improve the presentation of your card where possible.

Not all marks, scratches, stains or defects can be removed.

No Grade Guarantee

Cleaning does not guarantee an increase in grading outcome.

Some defects cannot be improved and may continue to limit the final grade.

Inherent Risks

Whilst every card is treated with the utmost care, cleaning carries an inherent risk of unintended changes to the card’s condition or appearance.

🔨 Slab Crack & Clean

Customer Authorisation

By requesting this service, you authorise Funky Tiger Cards to permanently remove your card from its graded holder.

This process cannot be reversed.

Slab Damage

The grading case will be destroyed during removal.

Cases are not retained unless specifically requested.

Risk Acknowledgement

Although every precaution is taken, slab cracking carries an inherent risk of accidental damage to the card.

By proceeding, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

Re-Grading

Funky Tiger Cards does not guarantee that a card will receive the same, higher or lower grade if submitted for grading again.

📋 Pre-Grading Assessments

Professional Opinion

Grading assessments are provided using our experience and knowledge of industry grading standards.

They are opinions only.

Not a Guarantee

Estimated grades are not guaranteed.

Final grades are determined solely by the grading company.

Hidden Defects

Certain manufacturing defects, alterations or internal damage may not be visible during an assessment and could affect the final grade.

💷 Payment

Payment is required before any service is carried out.

All completed services are non-refundable.

📦 Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking that the correct cards have been submitted before leaving the table.

Please inspect your cards before leaving after completion of any show service.

⚠️ Liability

Funky Tiger Cards accepts no liability for:

• Changes in card condition
• Grading outcomes
• Authentication decisions
• Market value
• Damage resulting from inherent risks associated with the requested service

By handing your card to Funky Tiger Cards at a card show, you confirm that:

• You understand the risks associated with the requested service.
• You authorise Funky Tiger Cards to perform the work.
• You accept these Terms & Conditions.

Submission of your card for any card show service confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the inherent risks associated with the requested service.
